- Hi, I think this really belongs over on on the networking board, but I
- never read that....
-
- Here is the problem. I just switched providers, and have been trying to
- connect via PPP(at 9600 baud). I finally got PPP to work, kind off. The
- log says
- that it negotiated the ip addresses and everything.... and then there is
- suddenly a time out, and the modem hangs up. I have the Log from at 40
- level, if that would help.....
-
- Also, I have just upgraded my homepage to be Netscape/IBrowse compat.,
- (with option for a textbrowser or Mosaic) and I can't up load the
- F*&%($*&ing .html or .gifs.
-
- I type rz, and sit there and wait for about 3 or 4 minutes until I get
- really frustrated and stop the transfer.
-
- I'm using term 4.6 and xprzmodem.library provided with that. Two weeks
- ago I could upload no problem. I uploaded one file, did some dickering
- with another, and when I went to upload that, that was when there was the
- problem.
-
- I've tried at different provider w/ the same results, and with
- BaudBandit.device and 8n1.device as well as plain ole serial.device(at a
- lower baud). So I don't think it's the device or the provider,
- VirusWorkShop doesn't report any viruses hanging out.... Could it be a
- memory conflict w/ one of my commidties???
-
- Some one please help me!!!!!
